Hi there – I’m Athena. I’m a product manager at a startup in San Francisco, and I’m fascinated by the relentlessness of innovation as well as the dynamism of human organizations here.

Mostly I think about data: how we work with data, how we stumble in our interactions with our machines, and how we draw conclusions from what we see. I also love long alpine days climbing in John Muir’s range of light and long runs in the San Francisco hills at daybreak. I like to believe that if I can solve most problems stumbling through another language learned in broken pieces in a foreign land, surely most problems at home can be conquered as well (sometimes my pup begs to differ).
